Japanese Domestic Market (JDM)
Lures under 3.5g can be difficult to get in the states. Mostly because American anglers subscribe to the "Bigger is Better" mantra. I've heard "Big baits catch big fish" on more than one occasion, and I can tell you that while that may be true sometimes, the majority of my "big fish" have been caught using slightly smaller baits than the guy next to me.
This Collection features baits that I have imported from Japan. They are quality products designed for a specific task. The specific combination of color and wobble is up to you to find for the particular day you are fishing. All these lures catch fish, but the subtle differences in them may mean more fish on a given outing. It is not uncommon to see Japanese fisherman sorting through hundreds of lures to find just the right one.
I like to start with a base color like red, green, orange, silver, or gold. If I get strikes or follows with that, we can add accent colors to try to entice more bites. If I don't get follows with any of the colors, the shape may be wrong. If it's not working adapt.
